Ale Bremer hails from the desert of northern Mexico, where her grandfather, a metallurgical engineer, awoke her interest and appreciation for metals and craftsmanship; she has been a metalsmith and designing and handcrafting jewelry since 2003. Following years spent in El Paso, New York, and Mexico City, she now lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Ale is constantly seeking new ideas that captivate ideological contrasts.  Embracing ancient jewelry making techniques and the timeless elegance of Mesoamerican art, her creations also bear the imprint of modern designs of Taxco silversmiths from the 1940's. Each piece becomes a testament to heritage, where timelessness meets cultural reverence, and jewelry and objects become an embodiment of stories and memories that endure beyond the passage of trends.
